the bowl upheld by two caryatid figures, each of a woman with bulbous almond-shaped eyes framed by gashed eyelashes, wide deeply carved lips, broad shoulders, large projecting breasts, large flat feet, each standing on the disk-like base, the rim of the bowl itself is trimmed with a simple alternating triangular design, slight damage to the front of the bowl and extensive damage at the back of the bowl, likely caused by rodents; fine, glossy brown patina.
