one with the hilt with a large flaring terminus, four rows of carved diamond elements decorate the sheath, as do several rows of braided brass wire wraps on both the hilt and sheath, a carved suspension lug is relatively large; the other with hilt and sheath deeply carved with diamond-shaped designs and cross-hatching; long suspension lug just above section wrapped with sinew at bottom of sheath.
