Footnotes
Private Timothy Connors was born at Killeaty, Co Cork, Ireland. His trade was a Labourer. He attested at Bandon on 15.3.1860. He served in India, Mauritius, South Africa and Gibraltar. He served in 'B' Company at the Defence of Rorke's Drift. He was discharged at Colchester on 2.5.1882, having served 21 years and 7 months. His intended place of residence was Lough, near Bandon, Co Cork.
He is on the roll as 1321 T.Connors entitled to South Africa Medal with bar 1877-8-9.
His number is down as 1323 on the South Wales Borderers Medal Roll 1793-1889.
