Waterloo 1815,

fitted with steel clip and replacement straight bar suspension (Lieut.R.H.Scott, 3rd. Batt. 1st Foot or R.Scots.). A couple of edge bruises, small contact marks, otherwise very fine. (Lot)

Robert Horsman Scott: Ensign 1st Foot 16th May 1811 confirmed on roll. He is additionally confirmed as having been slightly wounded in the London Gazette of 3rd July 1815.

The lot includes a framed and glazed portrait of him, half length, in uniform wearing his Waterloo medal: British School, XIXth Century, oil on canvas, 77 x 64cm.
