A George IV three piece silver tea service

by Robert Gray & Son, Edinburgh 1826
Of classical form, with gadrooned lower body with a fruiting vine frieze above and stiff leaf detail to the upper parts, raised on a part gadrooned socle foot, the teapot with leaf capped handle and anthemion and foliate scroll decorated spout, the sugar basin and creamer with leaf capped reeded handles, weight 51oz.
