A George IV silver fish slice

by George Booth of Aberdeen, circa 1820, three marks; GB, ABD, AB
Of fiddle pattern, the shaped blade with one side reeded, the centre pierced as a stylised leaf, the handle engraved with crest, motto and initial 'C', length 29.5cm.

Footnotes

The crest and motto of Spero has been recorded for two Scottish names; Learmonth and Calderwood.

Provenance;
The private collection of the late Johnny Noble of Ardkinglas and thence by descent.
