Of piping interest : A Victorian white metal mounted Sporran

The arched cantle engraved with foliate thistle designs, three ball finials, and black patent leather backing, the bag covered in white horse hair, the bag rear covered in red leather and lined with doe skin, the cantle centred with a shield shaped cartouche engraved 'Presented by the Northern Meeting to Duncan McDougall for second best performance of Strathspeys and Marches on the Great Highland bagpipes Sept 1869', 17cm wide, 42cm long.
