A Victorian silver mounted dirk of the Gordon Highlanders

Edinburgh 1891, Alex and J Smith
The 29cm plated blade with faceted back edge and double fuller on each side, carved basket weave hilt set with studs, the pommel set with a stone and thistle embossed mounts in its leather covered scabbard with applied thistle decoration and bi-knife and fork ensuite, the locket with stags head with 'Bydand' motto above a crown.
