A mid 18th century composite basket-hilted broadsword

The 85cm double edge blade with triple fuller, the iron guard formed of flattened bars framing fretted incised panels pierced with hearts and circles, S bars and fleur de lys, small scrolled wrist guard, with red fabric lining, domed pommel and later leather covered grip.
