A Victorian silver presentation ink stand

by Stephen Smith, London 1868
Of shaped rectangular form, on four bracket feet formed as winged paws, with beaded rim and central scroll handle, the two glass bottles with thistles applied to lids, together with a plated example stamped Mappin Brothers London, with presentation inscription, the two glass bottle with regimental device for the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders above 'Egypt', and and a lidded ink pot, set with Abercrombie medal.
