Two Victorian silver goblets

The first by Johnson Walker & Tolhurst, London 1871, on circular flaring foot with bead rim and double knop stem, with foliate bow swag detail and border to top, the second by Stephen Smith & William Nicholson, London 1860, on circular flaring foot with bead rim and double knop stem, with acanthus leaf and bud swag detail and geometric scrolling acanthus leaf border to top, with regimental device for Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders above 'Egypt', both with presentation inscription, weight 24.6oz.

Footnotes

The presentation inscription on the first goblet reads;
1st Prize Bowers Competition Currach 1889.

The presentation inscription on the second goblet reads;
Presented to the Sergeants Mess 72nd Duke of Albany's Own Highlanders by Lt Colonel Thellusson on his leaving the regiment 1860 Inter Platoon five-a-side Football challenge cup.
