A pair of Victorian silver quaichs

by Gibson & Langman, London 1898
The circular plain bowls on skirt foot, each with twin scrolling pierced handles, diameter of bowl 11.7cm, together with a silver trophy cup by Charles Stuart Harris, London 1892, of plain form on bead rim flaring foot, crested, height 30.6cm, and a small comport by George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1908 with mythical beast looped handles, all with presentation inscription, weight 46.4oz. (4)

The presentation inscription to the goblet reads;
Presented to the Officers, 2nd Battn Queens Own Cameron Highlanders by Captain and Honorary Major H.W. Kemble on his retirement 27th February 1892.

The presentation inscription on the comport reads;
Presented by Captain A.J Dudgeon. Queens Own Highlanders 19 Sept 1964.
