Illustrated with 12 Copper Plates], manuscript on paper, approximately 200 pages, 12 hand-coloured engraved armorial plates held in (modern) manila wallet at rear, written in a neat hand with occasional corrections, book label of Joan Corder, F.S.A., modern half calf, 8vo, [c.1780]

Footnotes

Never published but presented with a manuscript title-page which strongly suggests that publication was intended. Hugh Clark, who describes himself as "Heraldic Engraver & Editor of 'The Introduction to Heraldry'", published several books on heraldry in the 1770's and 1780's.
