playing two airs, with 14-part sectional comb with teeth in groups of five, on plain brass bedplate under smoked horn cover, tortoiseshell lid frame and gold hinge, the picture to lid entitled La Mort de Socrate, underside with triple diamond centre on repeating square ground, with a key - 3.5/8in. (9.2cm) wide, the cylinder 2.1/2in. (6.5cm)
