An Unusual Medieval Sword
Late 14th Century

In excavated condition, with long very broad flat tapering double-edged blade, hilt comprising long quillons of slightly tapering square section, long flat tapering tang, and compressed chamfered wheel pommel with circular recess on each side and pyramidal-shaped button
105 cm. blade, 127.3 cm. overall
