In excavated condition, with sharply tapering double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with shallow central fuller along each side of the forte, hilt comprising flat tapering quillons with downbent bluntly-pointed tips, flat tapering tang retaining the remains of the original wooden grips, and slightly compressed chamfered wheel pommel with flattened pyramidal-shaped button
