First Half Of The 10th Century

In excavated condition, with pattern-welded tapering double-edged blade with shallow central fuller along both sides, hilt comprising broad arched quillons, flat tapering tang, and pommel (probably missing its upper part) of inverted arch form en suite with the quillons
77.3 cm. blade, 89 cm. overall
