The first with flat trowel-shaped blade etched on both sides with scrolls centred on a cartouche containing Arabic calligraphy, and leather-bound wooden grip, in its leather scabbard entirely veneered with numerous pieces of bone and wood forming a geometric design (some losses); the second with flat waisted blade becoming bulbous, pierced with two holes, and decorated with lines of punched dots on both sides, and turned hardwood grip partly bound with twisted iron wire and iron ribbon (2)
