18th/19th Century

Of iron, with head comprising beak-shaped tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section inlaid with a brass dot on each side at the forte, block-shaped socket with waisted blade-mount and short square peen each damascened with gold foliage within line borders, and spike of diamond section with silvered moulded base encircled by rectangular recesses, on silvered twist iron haft of circular section with spherical terminal
