An Unusual Katar For A Child, And Another Katar
The First 18th Century, The Second 17th/18th Century

The first with tapering double-edged blade and point of diamond section, pierced at the forte and cut with converging fullers on each side, iron hilt pierced with two birds above the forte, tapering side-bars, and faceted swelling grips each joined by two small beads; the second with a pair of fullered double-edged blades each of diamond section at the point, and characteristic iron hilt retaining traces of silver-damascened decoration (some pitting overall) (2)
