A Flintlock Officer's Pistol Of Carbine Bore

With twist sighted barrel with sighting flat along its entire length, border engraved tang decorated with martial trophies, border engraved flat bevelled lock (cock repaired, top jaw and screw replaced) signed in script and decorated with a martial trophy on the stepped tail, engraved safety-catch, figured full stock (minor bruising, repaired inset opposite the lock, possibly due to the removal of a belt hook) with rounded butt (broken through and repaired) cut with characteristic chequering, engraved iron mounts comprising butt-cap and trigger-guard, the latter with pineapple finial, ramrod-pipes, silver escutcheon engraved with owner's initials, and later horn-tipped ramrod (barrel and mounts pitted, worn overall), London proof marks
