Circa 1875-77

With nickel-plated octagonal sighted barrel stamped 'E. Remington & Sons. Ilion. N.Y. Pat. W.S. Smoot. Oct. 21. 1873' on the sighting rib, nickel-plated fluted cylinder, frame and butt (sprung cartridge-extracting rod replaced), hammer, spur trigger, chequered rounded hard-rubber grips, and retaining most of its original nickel-plated finish
