A Spanish 15-Bore Miquelet-Lock Pistol

With two-stage russet barrel turned at the muzzle and at the chiselled and gilt girdle, the octagonal breech inlaid with floral sprays in silver and signed along the top flat, tang with grooved back-sight, plain flat lock with foliate engraved cock, figured full stock with chequered rounded butt (split), iron mounts comprising shaped side-plate, rounded butt-cap with lanyard ring for suspension and with long extension up the back of the butt to the barrel tang, trigger-guard with shaped finial, ramrod-pipe en suite, and later wooden ramrod
