A Cased Bohemian 10-Bore D.B. Percussion Sporting Rifle And Gun

With browned twist barrels reinforced at the muzzles, fitted with a bayonet mount on the right side, leaf-sighted to 150 Pas and signed in gold along the rib, the right barrel rifled with eight square grooves, gold Greek key-pattern lines at the breeches with gold foliage between, foliate engraved case-hardened breeches decorated with a hind between and each with small pierced platinum plug and swept fences, long border engraved tang decorated with foliage and with vacant silver escutcheon, signed back-action locks and hammers (one detached) en suite, the former (one action defective) decorated with partridges in a landscape on the left, and with hinds in a landscape on the right, varnished figured half-stock with chequered grip and cheek-piece, iron mounts engraved en suite and including trigger-guard with forward scroll and a roebuck in an oval on the bow, scrolled dark horn tang, trigger-plate with engraved foliate finial, rear ramrod-pipe en suite, set trigger, sling loops, original ramrod with white-metal tip, and some original finish: in its lined and fitted oak case (lid split) with full accessories including James Dixon & Sons black leather powder- and shot-flasks with white-metal nozzles, bullet moulds for oval and conical bullets, percussion cap dispenser and nipple-primer
