A Rare 25-Bore Flintlock 1756 Pattern Land Service Pistol
By Grice, Dated 1760

With plain barrel and tang, border engraved rounded lock with 'GR' crowned and signed above the date across the tail, figured moulded full stock with shallow apron around the tang, regulation brass mounts including shaped rounded side-plate, spurred pommel and shaped vacant escutcheon, brass ramrod-pipes, and later brass-tipped ramrod (iron parts with light rust patination), King's proof marks and Grice's barrelsmith's mark
