With browned barrel and tang, flat bevelled lock of Paget type with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the stepped tail, safety-catch, ring-neck cock and raised pan, figured full stock (split at the ramrod-entry) stamped with inspector's marks and Ordnance Storekeeper's mark dated 1800 above the tail of the lock, regulation brass mounts, stirrup ramrod, and retaining much of its original browning, King's proof marks
