An Irish 15-Bore Flintlock Rifled Carbine
By Rigby Of Dublin, Early 19th Century

With slightly swamped twist octagonal sighted barrel (back-sight missing) rifled with eight grooves and stamped with Dublin City registration mark 'DC-5245' along the top flat, plain tang, signed border engraved flat bevelled lock (action defective, top of steel chipped) with semi-rainproof pan, ring-neck cock and roller, figured three-quarter stock (bruised, fore-end split and repaired) flat along the bottom of the butt, brass mounts of regulation type comprising butt-plate, scroll trigger-guard (slightly bent) and large ramrod-pipes, brass fore-end cap, sling loop (the other missing), and original ramrod (tip missing, barrel and lock acid cleaned)
