A Spanish 15MM 1859/67 Berdan Conversion Military Short Rifle (Fusil Para Cazadores)
No. 50, Dated 1866

With blued sighted barrel (rear sight incomplete) retained by two barrel bands, hinged breech-block with sprung release-lever, plain tang, flat lock dated beneath a stamped Oviedo inspector's mark (Neue Støckel 8689), figured three-quarter stock (minor bruising) serial numbered on the left of the butt, regulation iron mounts, sling loops, and original iron ramrod with brass-tip (iron parts with some surface rust)
