With bright fullered blade double-edged at the point and stamped with three inspector's marks on one side of the forte, the back edge etched 'Manfre. du Imple. du Klingenthal Septembre 1812', brass half-basket guard of three rounded bars swept-up to join the knuckle-guard, the latter numbered '274' and indistinctly stamped 'Versaille', pommel-cap, and ribbed leather-covered grip (wire binding missing); the second with curved fullered blade stamped 'Henry Boker. Solingen' on one side at the forte, brass hilt of two rounded bars swept-up to join the knuckle-guard, pommel-cap, and ribbed leather-covered grip (binding missing), in original iron scabbard (pitted) with two suspension rings (2)
