Three inlaid iron tsuba

19th century
Comprising an oval iron plate decorated with Chinese scholars and attendants in a landscape rendered in takabori and iroe takazogan; a large mokkogata plate decorated with a warrior and a river boat in takabori, shishiaibori and silver and gold nunomezogan; a trapezoidal, lobed tsuba with a folded rim decorated with a rain dragon in high-relief brass inlay, the eyes inlaid in mother-of-pearl 3 3/8in (7.6cm) long (the largest)
