Five iron tsuba

The fourth by Joei, 18th-19th century
Comprising two Tembo school rounded-rectangular iron plate tsuba, both decorated with hot-stamped Chinese characters; a rectangular iron tanto tsuba decorated with a bridge post and Mt. Fuji in the distance in takabori and iroe takazogan, illegibly signed; a rounded-rectangular Mito-school iron plate tsuba decorated with a dragon in flames in copper and brass takazogan, signed Motome ni ozu Nantoshi kore (o) tsukuru Shoyosai Joei; a rounded-rectangular iron plate tsuba decorated with a pair of Shojo tasting sake in shishiaibori and gold hirazogan and nunomezogan 3 3/8in (7.6cm) long (the largest)
