Four Kaneie school iron tsuba

The second after Kaneie, 18th-19th century
Comprising an oval iron plate decorated with a scene from the eight-fold bridge in the Tales of Ise, decorated in iroe takazogan and takabori; an oval iron plate carved with an ox and ox-herd in a landscape in takabori and silver and brass highlights, inscribed Yamashiro kuni Fushimi ju Kaneie; a small oval iron plate with a hunter watching a flock of geese in iroe takazogan; a large mokko tsuchimeiji iron plate with a monkey fishing with gold and copper highlights, two udenukiana 4in (10.2cm) high (the largest)
