Two Higo Jingo tsuba

By the Jingo family, 18th-19th century
The first and iron mokkogata plate with a hammered surface and carved in raised relief with a large carp in the rain decorated in silver nunomezogan; the second, a rounded-rectangular iron plate with a raised, rounded rim, the surface worked to a smooth finish and inlaid with a brass wire running along the inside of the rim, the hitsuana of namako form, pierced with an udenukiana, signed Jingo saku 2 3/4in (7cm); 3in (7.5cm) long
