Painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear, crackled glaze, decorated on the interior with a circular central panel detailing a seascape with fishing boats, surrounded by smaller alternating panels of flower heads, butterflies, and people in artistic pursuits, the exterior with a profusion of chrysanthemum heads, bordered by geometric bands, signed Yabu Meizan
