By Kamisaka Sekka (1866-1942) and Kamisaka Yukichi (1886-1938)
The circular vessel with and overhanging cover cut with fan-shaped apertures designed to offer a glimpse of the decorated container beneath, decorated in colored lacquer with large gingko leaf designs against a rich red ground, the top of the cover with a single leaf, interior red lacquer
With a wood storage box inscribed Ikkan nuri tsuta urushie jikiro and signed Heian makieshi Yukichi saku and sealed Yu 6 1/8in (15.5cm) high
