Decorated in silver and brown hiramakie and inlaid aogai and kirikane against a roiro-nuri ground with Jurojin under a large sedge hat carrying a fan and a crane by a pine tree, the sheath decorated with Chinese boys holding a fan and a banner, the interiors nashiji; fitted with a lacquer bead ojime decorated with the attributes of the Seven Lucky Gods and a hako netsuke with nesting cranes 3 5/8in (9.1cm) long
