The large inro of lobed shape and lacquered in simulated iron and patinated metals against a bright kinji ground, the tsuba inscribed with the 'signatures' of various famous smiths including Yasuchika and Ishiguro Masatsune, the interior lacquered nashiji and fundame; fitted with a mixed metal ojime carved with blossoming flowers 4 7/8in (12.2cm) long
