A two-case bamboo inro, large leather pipecase and matching tobacco pouch

The inro intricately carved with Chinese-style pavilions nestled among trees and rocks, the top carved with a peony, unsigned; fitted with an ivory bamboo node ojime; the set, of finely tooled and gilded leather decorated with lotus leaves and seasonal flowers, fitted with a silver four-section hinged chain cast and carved with crashing waves and applied with gold dragon medallions, the clasp on the pouch carved in bold relief with a presentation of scrolls by the Sea King's attendant, or perhaps the serpent Kiyohime before the bell of Dojoji, the reverse plate carved with the palace of the Sea King in katakiri-bori
