Of rounded-rectangular form and lacquered with two shaped panels, one side decorated with a landscape in hiramakie and takamakie, with hirame and muranashiji highlights, the reverse lacquered in takamakie with a manzai dancer on a hirame ground and with inlaid metal accents, the surrounding area gyobu nashiji, interiors hirame and nashiji, signed Joka; fitted with a silver ojime pierce carved with interweaving florets 3 1/2in (8.9cm)long
