A ivory netsuke of a group of masks and an ivory shishi

19th century
Carved as a group of six masks from noh and Kyogen plays including Hakushikijo, Beshimi, Hyottoko and others, illegibly signed []sai; the second carved as a seated shishi scratching his chin with his right rear paw 1 1/2in (3.7cm) wide; 1 3/8in (3.4cm) wide
