An engraved mammoth heavy baluster goblet, circa 1715-20
The generous pointed funnel bowl decorated with a meandering branch of fruiting vine, set on a half knop and teared drop knop over a cushion knop and teared inverted baluster with basal flattened knop below, folded domed foot, 26.5cm high

This goblet was passed down through an English family who emigrated to Canada early in the 19th century. The engraving was probably added in the mid 18th century.
