Footnotes

EXHIBITED:
Tel Aviv, Gordon Gallery, Moshe Mokady: Selected works, 2010, illustrated p.47

"To break loose of the burden and just begin to sing..." Thus Mokady described his feelings towards abstract painting. "The maturity of the artist is expressed by him looking for the essence in his work, he gives up elements which existed in his earlier works... I think that we the artists do not intend to show the objects on the canvas surface, we want to show our inner parts, our affiliation to the world around us."
