An album of 57 views of the Games, including private images of the Doerffeldt family, one of which is signed by Ilse Doerffeldt, gelatin silver prints, mostly mounted four per page and back to back, images typically 60 x 90mm., cloth, oblong folio (225 x 315mm.), 1936; together with two copies of Das Deutsche Mädel pertaining to the Games (3)

Footnotes

Ilse Doerffeldt was the last runner in Germany's 400m relay against the USA. Whilst the German team were leading Doerffeldt dropped the baton and shattered Germany's hope of victory, much to Hitler's chagrin.
