Seated on a large clam, facing ahead with an agonised expression as its trailing foot is caught in the shell's jaws, the slightly-worn wood is of a good colour, the eyes inlaid and the cord holes ringed with ivory, signed Suketada. 4.2cm (1 5/8in).
