Lying with its head raised to the left, its tail sweeping around the flank and its legs drawn in for compactness, one forming the himotoshi, the dark wood bears a good patina and the eyes are inlaid with pale and dark horn, signed in an oval reserve Tomokazu. 4.8cm (1 7/8in).
