Seated, leaning forward, its body twisted slightly to the left as it nibbles on its hind paw which is drawn forward, while it holds its tail, curling beneath, the slightly-worn wood bears a fine patina and the eyes are inlaid, signed in an oval reserve Masanao. 4.7cm (1 7/8in).
