A silver-mounted circular snuff box, perhaps Meissen, 19th century
Painted around the side with a continuous landscape scene depicting elegant figures and buildings in park and river settings, above a band of gilt foliate scrollwork, the cover with a similar scene within a shaped gilt quatrelobe foliate scrollwork cartouche, the inside cover with a scene of elegant figures by a trellis in parkland, the base with an purple and iron-red trellis pattern, the mount chased with scrollwork, 5.6cm diam.
