A Meissen gilt-metal-mounted shell-shaped snuff box, circa 1750
Probably modelled by Johann Gottlieb Ehder, the inside cover painted with a Watteauesque scene depicting Pierrot with a lute and two other figures, the interior gilt, the mounts chased with scrollwork, 8.5cm wide
