A Meissen gold-mounted oval snuff box, circa 1750-60
Moulded with scrollwork cartouches entwined with flowers, heightened in enamels and gilding, each enclosing a landscape scene with figures and buildings, the inside cover with a similar, elaborate river scene, the interior painted with scattered flower sprigs, the gold mounts probably later, 8cm wide, 4.5cm high
