A fine quality French gilt bronze and marble clock garniture
second half 19th century

Comprising a mantel clock and pair of three light candelabra; the clock with arched case surmounted by an urn and flanked by laurel wreath handles, centered by the white enamel chapter ring with Roman hours and visible escapement, the twin train movement striking on a bell, the backplate with S. Marti Medaille de bronze pastille and impressed 545, on conforming plinth base; the companion candelabra centered by a flaming urn raised on three supports headed by rams heads suspending swags issuing scroll arms, on fluted and circular laurel wrapped base.
